In the Early Years, children use their senses to explore scientific concepts and their natural curiosity is encouraged to explore the natural world around them.
In Key Stage 1 children follow the National Curriculum and cover key science concepts such as seasonal changes, plants, animals including humans and materials. They work scientifically, observing closely, identifying and classifying, gathering and recording data to ask and answer questions.
