Looking for local artwork in Maryport. 
 

Exploring paint and colour in the style of Jackson Pollock and Kandinsky in Nursery and Reception. 

Throughout the school we have created different self portraits using line drawing. Developing the skills of drawing throughout the school. We have studied a variety of different artists such as Elizabeth Payton and Andy Warhol. 

Year two have been creating land art using natural objects inspired by Andy Goldsworthy

Year One children have been using the work of LS Lowry a local artist to create their own art work. This has linked to the Lowry trail which has recently been opened in Maryport. 

Reception and Nursery children’s creations in Continious Provision time. Craft, painting, computers  and using salt dough linked to Autumn, Halloween, Divali and Bonfire Night. 

Local Artists visited Year One to create Under the Sea artwork through the Taste of the Sea Festival.
