Winter and Christmas
We enjoyed reading the story of The Snowman and learning about snow. We used ice cubes in our water tray and looked at how it melts, we made snowmen using cotton wool and looked and named some animals that might live in colder countries.
We enjoyed making Christmas cards and learning the Christmas story through our play. We had fun at Planet Play for our Christmas trip and loved Christmas dinner day!

Ball skills with Connor
We enjoyed learning about passing and kicking balls during our PE sessions with Connor from ‘First Kicks’.
Ourselves.
Our first topic this year was ourselves. We were naming and labelling each of our body parts and discovering our different senses. We talked about our favourite foods and took turns looking after the babies in the Baby Clinic.
