Year 2 children have been recognising the value of the different coins and enjoying games which involve paying for items and adding prices together to find a total. 

Year 1 have been recognising and matching/ sorting the different coins. They then used these coins to pay for items in the class shop. 

In the Foundation Stage, the children have opportunities to role play using money in the shop in their classroom.
